Snail Pie with Cherries

kcalThis delicious fruit pie looks amazing and is very easy to make. It is most delicious with fresh cherries, but you can also use other fruits for preparation.
Ingredients
700 g cherries
400 g flour
200 ml of yogurt
200 g of cold butter
100 g icing sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
Directions
- Mix the flour with the butter. Add yogurt and baking powder. Knead the dough. Form a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes. Then take it out and develop a crust about 3 mm thick. Cut into strips 7-8 cm wide.
- Arrange the cherries in the middle of the strip of dough and arrange them next to each other. Sprinkle them with powdered sugar. Arrange the rolls in a baking dish with an average diameter of 22 cm. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
- Add the rolls and twist in the shape of a snail’s nest until you fill the whole bowl. Place in a preheated oven and bake for 30-40 minutes. Remove, cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
