Kuglof with Cherries – Quick Fruit CakeCourse: Cakes
200 g of sugar
1 vanilla sugar
120 ml of oil
200 g of yogurt
350 g pitted cherries
250 g of smooth flour
1/2 baking powder
Peel the cherries, mix with one tablespoon of flour and set aside.
Whisk the eggs with the sugar, then add the oil and yogurt.
Finally, add flour and baking powder and mix everything lightly with a mixer to get a smooth mixture without lumps.
Grease and flour the kuglof mold.
In the prepared mold, alternately pour the dough, then the cherries, then the dough, then the cherries… and so on until you have used up all the ingredients!
Bake the kuglof for 45-50 minutes at a temperature of 180 ° C.
Sprinkle the cooled kuglof with powdered sugar.
