With two ingredients and a little time, make a delicious treat that will become your favorite dessert!
Wash and peel the oranges well with a knife, so that you get a large and flat surface of the peel.
Remove as much white part as possible from the crust, then cut them into thin sticks, then measure the crust and mix it with sugar – as many grams of crust, as many grams of sugar.
Put everything in a pan and pour water just to soak a little.
Cook at a moderate temperature and stir constantly until all the water has boiled.
Allow to cool, then separate the crust that has stuck together with your fingers.
The crust should be stiff and crispy.
Candied orange peel can be used to decorate cakes, ice cream and desserts, and can be served as a snack with liqueurs and sweet drinks.
You can dip the sticks in melted chocolate as desired.
