Delicious and Healthy Mint Juice
You can easily make your own mint syrup, which you drink diluted and chilled, and it will have such an effect on your body almost instantly.
Ingredients
Put a liter of water and a kilogram of sugar, half a lemon and about 10 grams of citric acid (two teaspoons) on 10 sprigs of mint.
If you want more juice, just double these amounts.
Directions
- Soak mint sprigs in water with citric acid and lemons cut into slices with peel.
- Mix well and let it stand in a cool and dark place for 24 hours.
- On the second day, strain the liquid, then add sugar and mix well. Leave to stand for another 24 hours, stirring occasionally.
- After 48 hours, the syrup is ready to pour and store in glass bottles. It is best to store smaller quantities in the fridge, and larger quantities in a cool and dark place.
