Decorated Sweet PretzelsCourse: Bon Flavor
1 sachet of 10 g of dry biological yeast
1 cup warm water
2 tablespoons butter at room temperature
2 tablespoons of sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 and 1/2 cups of wheat flour, approximately
3/4 cup of melted butter to pass on pretzels
Mix the yeast in the warm water, add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Add the wheat flour gradually until the dough is soft and take a little on the fingers. This makes it easier to open the strings later, if you need to add more flour, taking care that the dough does not get dry.
Let stand for 15 minutes.
Make strands of dough rolling on a surface that cannot be too floured, as it makes it difficult for the string to stretch. The cords can be approximately 1 cm thick and 45 to 50 cm long.
Model the strings as pretzels or any other model you prefer. Place them on a greased and floured baking sheet and bake in a medium preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove the pretzels while still hot and pass in melted butter, then pass in the sugar with cinnamon, granulated chocolate, powdered chocolate, grated coconut or the topping you prefer.
