Creamy Adzuki Bean SticksCourse: Frozen
A creamy stick recipe that features a classic of Japanese cuisine: adzuki red beans.
1 cup (250 mL) whole milk, 3.3%
1 1/2 cups (375 mL) adzuki beans (canned)
1/2 cup (160g) sweetened condensed milk
6 wooden coffee sticks
Put the beans and milk in the cup of a food processor and mix 1 min. Add the condensed milk and mix well until a smooth puree is obtained.
Pour the mixture into 6 molds and place in the freezer for 30 min. Meanwhile, dip the sticks in water, then place them in the molds. Put everything back in the freezer for at least 5 hours.
When ready to serve, place the molds for 3-5 seconds under hot water to facilitate demolding.
