It is a very simple recipe to prepare and will make everyone’s mouth water. If you can’t resist desserts with carrots, this carrot pie will become one of your favorite recipes.
500 g of carrots
350 g of sugar
70 g of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Peel and cut the carrots into pieces. Cook them in water and then drain them well and grind them. Reserve.
Break the eggs into a bowl, add the sugar and beat well. Add the flour, yeast, zest and orange juice and stir everything well. Finally, add the carrot puree and re-wrap.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper, pour the previous dough into it and place it in the oven, preheated to 180ºc, for about 20 minutes. Then unmold the dough on a cloth dusted with sugar. Discard the greaseproof paper and immediately roll it up with the help of the cloth. Let cool and serve.
